THE STANFORD PRISON EXPERIMENT TRAILER (Video) – A prison social experiment becomes a little too real in the trailer for The Stanford Prison Experiment.
The film is based on the actual events that took place in 1971 when Stanford professor Dr. Philip Zimbardo created what became one of the most shocking and famous social experiments of all time.
The Stanford Prison Experiment is directed by Kyle Patrick Alvarez and stars Ezra Miller, Thomas Mann, Billy Crudup, Michael Angarano, Tye Sheridan, Johnny Simmons, and Olivia Thirlby.
PLOT: Twenty-four male students out of seventy-five were selected to take on randomly assigned roles of prisoners and guards in a mock prison situated in the basement of the Stanford psychology building.
