BRAIN ON FIRE CASTING – Chloë Grace Moretz is replacing Dakota Fanning in the upcoming adaptation Brain on Fire.
Moretz is starring in the upcoming thriller Dark Places and will lead the sci-fi thriller The 5th Wave next year.
Based on Susannah Cahalan’s 2012 memoir, the biopic centers on a young woman who suddenly finds her unable to speak or move without any explanation.
Brain on Fire is directed by Gerard Barrett and also stars Thomas Mann and Will Poulter.
PLOT: A look at a young woman’s rapid descent into insanity.
